development strategy

The Strategy of the Service Development and Communication Department of St. Tamar King University of the Patriarchate of Georgia for the academic years 2021-2024 includes the basic framework of establishing and implementing local and international relations, internationalization priorities. The strategy includes all forms of local and international relations (bilateral and multilateral).

The strategy includes the development of various services for improving knowledge for students, for academic and administrative staff, promoting integration in the international educational space; To promote continuous professional education service for students, academic and administrative staff, conduct an active and complex PR campaign to attract students, develop employment and career growth service for students.

Priorities of local academic and research cooperation:

Part of the strategy is to establish academic and research relationships with local universities based on memorandums of cooperation, which will contribute to:

effective use of material and technical resources necessary for academic education and scientific research;
compatibility of programs within the framework of curriculum design, learning outcomes and competencies;
preparation and implementation of joint educational programs in separate directions;
to create a unified network of educational and scientific bases;
promoting integration in the international academic and scientific space as a result of cooperation;
Planning of joint cultural and creative events.

Main priorities of internationalization:

Four priorities will be decisive for the internationalization process of St. Tamar King University of the Patriarchate of Georgia:

Increasing the awareness of the university through partnership and cooperation with European and other foreign universities within the framework of Erasmus+, 2. The second priority includes strengthening the international exchange of academic and administrative personnel, 3. Strengthening the positions of St. Tamar King University in the international scientific research space, internationalization of the domestic scientific environment, 4. Joint international cultural - Creation and implementation of creative events.
Our goal is to promote the strengthening of the university's role and active involvement in social discourse, as well as in the search for solutions to current global social and environmental issues.

As a result of the implementation of the above-mentioned activities, the quantitative indicators of the internationalization of St. Tamar King University are determined.

The goal of the internationalization strategy should be to increase the involvement of the university's academic staff and scientists in international scientific conferences and projects, and at the same time ensure the involvement of foreign scientists in the projects developed by St. Tamar King University of the Patriarchate of Georgia.

The university will certainly take into account and use the experience of the European Center, which facilitates the preparation and presentation of international projects. The goal of the internationalization process is to implement cutting-edge research at the university.

Service Development and Communication Service (Career Development Center) will coordinate new initiatives to meet the needs of St. Tamar King University of the Patriarchate of Georgia and new directions in terms of internationalization development.

Development of academic staff services

Promotion of continuing professional education development for academic and administrative staff
Facilitating the sharing of knowledge and experience of the academic and administrative staff of the university with the academic and administrative staff of foreign universities
Activation of existing research institutes and centers in the university with increasing involvement of academic staff

Organizing the creation of student self-government

In order to raise the level of students' knowledge of foreign languages at the university, establishing relations with foreign language centers with a high reputation and providing teaching services for mobility and European experience in European and other foreign universities.
Development of service for people with special needs on the first floor of the university
